Seegrotte

Seegrotte is a underground lake. It used to be chalk mines and an area where the German jet fighter plane Heinkel He 162 or the "Volksjager" was developed and produced. The Disney movie "The Three Musketeers" was filmed here.



















It is hard to see in this picture, but if you look closely you can see one of the boats that was used in the movie.

Manner Chocolate!

Manner chocolate is a very traditional chocolate in Austria. The company is famous for their wafer. Here is Hannah with a Giant sized wafer.

This is the famous Prater Ferris Wheel!

The Prater is an Amusement Park in Vienna, Austria. It is famous for it's Giant Ferris Wheel. The top of the Ferris Wheel reaches 64.75 meters. The insides of the different compartments of the Ferris Wheel are interesting. Some have seating where complete meals are served while others have pic-nic tables inside or just open areas for the public to stand and view the magnificent scenery.

We are back from the USA!

Well we are back and getting back into the groove of things.
Despite our two day delay, our 23 hour airport/plane adventure, our two missing pieces of luggage and cold weather, we had a magnificent time.

All good things are worth waiting for. This definitely was!

We are blessed to have so many amazing people in our lives. Thanks to all who put in their time and energy to make our visit home so special.
